Title IX of the Education Amendments
of 1972 is a Federal Law prohibiting discrimination based on sex in education
programs and activities that receive federal financial assistance. Title
IX covers all programs of a college or school that receives financial
assistance academics, extracurricular and athletics. Students with inquiries
concerning compliance not associated with intercollegiate athletics should
be directed to Donald C. Heilman, J.D., Ed.M., Director of Compliance
